I've been reading/hearing mostly positive news regarding many of the previews that's recently been released. That's a good thing. Still, Ubisoft doesn't get a pass from their past issues. I've decided to wait out the launch and decide if this will be the Christmas present I'll ask for.

Interesting Note:

Star Wars Outlaws will have an optional Cinematic Mode that replicates the lenses and cinematic effects Lucasfilm used when shooting Episodes 4 to 6.

The game is set between Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.

The final batch of previews was more positive, and I don't think Ubisoft games are ever THAT bad, it's just whether it strayed far enough from the Ubi formula to feel interesting.

I’ve breezed through a few comment sections for this game and it appears that there’s a huge echo chamber with their panties bunched up about this game for some mysterious reason lol! Game looks perfectly fine, and really looks like it’s going to do the Stars Wars name some justice imo!

I’m fairly optimistic with this one, but I just saw it’s not coming to Steam. Not a complete deal breaker, but I think I’ll definitely at least wait for a sale now, and maybe in the meantime there will be a better idea of how long the exclusivity will be in place.

So it's basically an additional $40 for 3 days early and the season pass. Not terrible, but I do hate the idea of someone spending $70 on this and then constantly being told in-game that they're missing out by not spending more.

Can't wait for this one, won't be doing any early access just going with the basic copy, but seeing as it's Ubisoft, I'll probably be able to pick up the extra content around Black Friday.

I have UPlay+ Premium so I just preloaded it on my PC. Browsing Twitter and Youtube, a lot of people got the game over the weekend. Some like it, some don't.

I actually Pre-ordered a retail physical copy at Gamestop a week ago which was conveniently located next door to my barber. I'll pick up my copy tomorrow.

Early reviews are in and they are pretty mixed.

Some hate it, a few really like it, but most are in the kind of 7/10 to 7.5/10. A pretty good game that doesn't really shine. It will be interesting to see what the user score ends up being.
