Revolution might not have a lot 3rd party support

Iwata compares to the Revolution to the DS. I'm not up to date on my handhelds, but what killer 3rd party games does the DS have?

I feel like the Revolution will be their last home console. I remember when Nintendo was saying online play wasn't a big deal and too expensive .... and at the same time they hype up their GBA-Cube linkage which is actually more expensive to do if you have to buy another system/game/cable.

And besides what do consumers want .... online Madden or extra Madden cards?

Because I grew up playing NES I find it sad I'm basically watching the death of Nintendo.

Survival of the Fittest. As a former PS1 & 2 owner and a current XBOX owner, when Nintendo goes under (as a console system), I hope Microsoft picks up the rights to Nintendo's first party console games.

Nintendo might die as a home console entity in North America but it's still pretty strong in Japan. If the company does go under as a console maker then I hope Sony picks up the 1st party rights.

:y4: I doubt that. Nintendo already said, if that day came, they would get out of the gaming industry all together.

Most people knew that as soon as the revolution was announced.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

I don't. A lot of the nintendo games are retreads of the same thing. i can live without another mario or zelda game.
