Anyone playing?

I'm about 20 hours in, and like Fallout I have not completed much. I got one quest line done, now the rest of my time is hunting down spacers to fill my shipyard, and scanning planets for credits.

It's a hell of a game if you have not.played it yet. Rather slow to start, but go through the Vanguard quest line and it will hook you.

I shelved the game awhile back but I do think that I'll one day return. Here's the new update that's available on Steam Beta, and on all platforms May 15.

Seems like a game to play one day down the line when it's fully optimized. There's so much I don't want to do in the game that you have to do. DOGFIGHTING with spaceships? really? Freaking fighter jets don't dogfight anymore, what are we doing!? And then the fact you seemingly, from what I could tell, cannot avoid those fights. Also that so many years have passed and they're still so behind with facial expressions, the cheesy lifeless characters, all these things seem like they're non starters. Yet, I still want to play a game where I can just go to some awesome place in a gigantic universe and chill in space and have that be my background on my wall TV while I do other things. Can you do that in this game?

So many complained of boredom, so an update was released, bringing a fresh feeling to the game. Meanwhile, YOU want to complain/nitpick because there is now too much activity in the game, and you would rather be able to put your controller down and have the game in the background while doing “other things,” leaving the video game up, unpaused.

It can be effortlessly seen how game developers get so frustrated when users and fans demand upgrades to the game environment only to find new ways to be annoyed once those changes are implemented. Geez.
