skybox: Super Monkey, or Athens? I played the demo, and wanted to play more. I liked the execution of the events, graphics were very solid, etc. But it's still $40 everywhere. If you're a Gamefly member, it's like $13 pre-played, tho.

I've never tried it, but a friend of mine loves Dance Dance Revolution. Sucks that you have to buy the game and the floor mat.

Say what you will about the system, but Gamecube has the best party/multiplayer games:

              -Mario Kart
              -Super Smash Brothers
              -Mario Party(s)
              -Mario Tennis

Tennis was always our favorite, the doubles matches are great.

yes, Athens 2004. I plan to pick it up, when it's $20 in the stores.

This one too. Dang, Nintendo manages to make some quality party games even if they're not intended to be.

I bought Athens 2004 Friday for 20.00 and we(nephews and myself) played it Saturday night. It was really fun. It's not a cut and dry button masher. The only ones that are all button mashing are the sprint races. The rest entail button mashing with some timing elements as well. The womens floor exercise is like DDR. The longer runs are strickly stick based. You have to gauge you stamina etc. and make a decision of how fast to go whether its a sprint(Stick all the way up) of normal pace ect..
Anyways I would certainly get it for a "party" time evening.
