So far I like it. Game have a lot of customization options which I like. My RTX 4090 have zero problems running it with everything maxed out, so yeah very optimized game.

Wonderful. I will be upgrading my Lenovo Legion soon but I feel it should be able to handle it fine for now.Comment

I've beaten it, after you do you can still go back to any of the locations so you don't need to 100 percent it or anything right off rip.I won't ask for Christmas or birthday gifts if you subscribe to the Operation Sports Newsletter (Not Just Another Roster Update). I write it, and it hits your inbox every Friday morning (for freeeeeee). We also have an official OS Discord you can now join.Comment

The lighting in the game is excellent. When you are in a dark cave with no torch, OMG it is very dark. So they did a good job there.Comment

Re: Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
Or you can just get Gamepass Ultimate and play the game anywhere you want via Xcloud and preferably with the better Xcloud extension. Xcloud right now is superb, it's not GFN quality but with better Xcloud extension you can play seamlessly and smooth at 1080hq, 60fps if you have a decent internet connection without packet losses.Comment

Re: Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
So apparently Spectrum had an outage last night. But it was weird, some things worked and some didn’t. Anyway game loaded right up tonight and love the beginning. So I have a TCL qled and there’s the option for game master with VRR and ALLM but no HDR or with it off you can have HDR. I honestly can’t tell difference in picture quality. I was just wondering which setting others would use?Comment

Re: Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
I'm hearing that for many who don't wish to get all the achievements and wish to go straight thru the game, it can raise your story pleasure more. Going back is a nice strategy if you wish. I'm also hearing the second half may at times drag-on because of looking for these achievements.
Graphically it’s the best looking game I’ve played and I’m sure some will disagree.
I feel like I’m actually IJ and I’m caught up in the game if that makes sense. Gameplay is smooth and this just seems like it’s going to be a wild ride.

With full ray-tracing it's quite impressive as you say and yes, you feel like Indie
Loving it so far
Of all the new games to recently drop, this is capturing me the most. One thing I'll need to pass to those of us who despise First-Person. MachineGames nailed it for us. It's not disorienting, or debilitating for those sufferers and works surprisingly well. They wanted to differentiate Indiana Jones from Uncharted and so far, they've succeeded.Comment

Same thing happened with Indiana Jones after I booted it up once, just didn't hold my attention (I did like how he cocks/uncocks the pistol however).Last edited by kingsofthevalley; 12-14-2024, 05:43 PM.Comment

Re: Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
I wouldn't say I despise first-person, but I believe FPS games should be more advanced at this point. More should be happening within the field of view, or specifically, more should be happening with the arms and hands interacting with the environment. For example, when you run up to walls and peek around corners and such, the hand should be navigating the wall, grabbing the corner, etc, really performing actions outside of the main (firing guns, swinging a knife). Without that, all of the FPS titles just feel generic imo.

You're talking about having "the 6 degrees of freedom -Full 360 degrees"? As a VR enthusiast, I can relate. After being exposed to VR, flat-FP became so "old school," and undesirable that unless you've tried it, its hard to even explain the comparison. Playing in a 3D world eliminates that FP flat limitations.Comment

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
I’ve only done a handful of things in the Vatican so far, but what a great first impression.
This is the first time I’ve used PC gamepass deliberately for a single game/month, and the sustainability of such a service has me kind of confused. How many hundreds of thousands if not eventually millions of potential customers are just going to pay the $10-$20 and then bounce after the month is up?
I’m sure a small percentage of those people will wind up hanging around in perpetuity, but I don’t know how you continue to fund AAA game production while simultaneously cutting yourself off at the knees…
I would’ve easily bought this at full price if there wasn’t such a cheap alternative.

I still prefer if third person was a choice. Haven’t been able to get into first person like I used to. But I have to say I’m still enjoying this Indiana game quite a bit.Comment

Re: Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
I find the lady that be with you on some missions annoying. You be trying to be stealthy and she is always walking right in front of guards. Reminds me of that dude on Socom Navy Seals who use to do the same thing all the time. Also notice the later part of the game is quite glitchy and buggy. You will hear Indiana repeat lines from an earlier mission that is not relevant to your current one. Also some times when you try to climb a wall, he will get stuck within the wall.Comment
