I love the Stalker games. Probably won't pay full price but we'll see.

        What chance? It's on GP.
People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.

played it for a bit, maybe need to give it more of a chance but ---- feels a bit cheap? dead zone for controller is horrendous and feels very floaty and inconsistent just looking around. Might not be the right game for me - one last session and I'll have my mind made up.

Finished the prologue. Was full of nostalgia the entire time, so that only boosted my enjoyment. Can't wait to see how the rest of the game plays out, but I felt the prologue was a nice introduction to the game, especially for those new to the series.

I am interested to see how some of the mechanics, like hunger, work long-term, but on the surface I like they included things like that since they were so popular in the modding scene for the older games.

My biggest disappointment so far is that there are not more UI options to have things either off altogether or be dynamic. I don't need my health on the screen at all times. I'd like a clean screen for the majority of the time and only have things like that flash up when I am taking damage. I am sure a mod will eventually fix that. I was a little surprised there was so much UI given how the older games were, but I get it in this day and age.
