    Re: Kingdome Come: Deliverance 2

I have to say this game has been a real treat. I did not play the first one and honestly don’t know how much more I have left. But the story telling is second to none. It is like taking in a medieval movie.
Currently playing: (In order of Most Time)
CFB 25 Dynasties Mississippi St, Minnesota, UNC, Missouri, Pitt
    Forza Motorsport
    Star Wars Outlaws

Did it this weekend. Be sure you have plenty of time set aside. It's a long quest and you're going to want to take your time and enjoy it all.

You will at first. It is HARD. Don't get discouraged, tho. You will learn and as you gain skill points and get better weapons and armour, it gets a lot easier.

I read somewhere that there is expected to be 34 pages (34!!!) of patch notes! If so, that is CRAZY. The thing that I need fixed the most is the audio popping and stuttering. It's been really bad.

GamesRadar had it first from someone inside. However, everyone is saying its supposedly massive.

I don't think a game has fully grabbed me like this one since Witcher 3. I've got it bad right now, lol.

I was skeptical of the combat early on. Not that I ever thought it was bad, but it felt like it was going to be a little too slow and clunky for me to really fall in love with. It took about 30-40 hours, but I've finally hit the point where I have some swagger when rolling up on a group of bandits, and it's just really clicking for me in general.

Although, I'm a terrible shot... Probably just need to practice it a little more. What do you guys prefer as far as ranged weapons go? I started out with a crossbow, but have struggled to use it effectively on the few occasions I would even remember to whip it out. I just picked up a halfway decent bow, so I'm going to give that a go next.

Regular bow is my go to. I need to go find a better one and craft better arrows, but I’m level 30 archer and these bad arrows will take anyone down in 3 hits. Once you get the best perks for the bow, you can do some serious work with it.

You need to find the black arrows. There is a guy named Lefty just outside of Pschitoky. He's at a Point of Interest called the Shooting Range. Find him and you'll be glad you did. He will need Raven feathers, tho, so keep an eye out for those.

Exactly what was on my to do list next time I played. I knew I needed Raven feathers so I found 10 randomly while stealing stuff. Going to need to find my man Lefty.

There are also arrows situated AROUND him that respawn after a bit. They are in the trees and in a barrel. And when he crafts the arrows for you, I think you can pickpocket him and get the feathers right back. Lol!

About 60 hours in and just rolled into Kuttenberg for the first time. Definitely up there with the likes of Saint Denis or Novigrad in terms of scale and just overall wow factor. This game feels so incredibly "lived in", for lack of a better term.

I’m right at 66 hours played and got there too. Just described it to my buddies at Saint Denis as well. However, I love it and hated Saint Denis.
