walmart had a few dozen as well. Is there really that big of a demand for one?

I have the extra cash. I could look to sell mine as well. could go up on ebay as soon as tomorrow.

"I got $80 for the DS system and $18 for Tiger Woods DS at Gamestop. I traded them yesterday and paid off my PSP pre-order."

That is insanity, ever heard of Ebay? You could have gotten close to what you paid for it instead of that massive loss! <!-- / message -->

Well this thing is huge here in NYC, its been all over the news and theres lots of buzz about it. I'm leaving in about a half hour to go stand on line. My EB has about 400 pre-orders but the line is only expected to be about 100-150 deep, in the morning at least.

My brother picked one up. I'm not totally sure right now if its well worth the hype. You will defintely need to drop another 300 bucks on decent accesories to fully utilize the unit.

                    you're basically looking at a 1gb mp3,video, and mini ps2, for 500 bucks.

A USB cable wasn't included in the standard 250 dollar package. Cheap earphones were provided. And now you've got to hunt for 1 gb memory cards. YOu have 20 supplied on ebay while thousands demand it. That all equals 200-250 dollars for a standard 150 msrp memory card.

I guess ill wait until fall and see if it was worth the money. for now its going in the back closet, waiting for a decent game to come out.

the pro's are the picture quality and the smallness of the unit. Its like you want to take it out in public but know now that it can be stolen rather easily... there are security features on the unit.. not sure what thats all about.

for now Its a wait to see if you can hack your memory card for APPZ or games..

Early on it seems like the highest rated games are the racing games. Anybody know why that is? Is the framerate just bad in non racing titles?

I'm anxious to hear impressions of those who pick this up.

the two sports games, ive heard, have been the worst rated games. The games can hold 1.8gb of data, which is nearly what some ps2 and xbox currently use, so the future is great.

Well, I had my DS and Tiger on ebay for a combined $150 for about 2 weeks and had no takers. I know I got ripped, but I had to pay off my PSP pre-order. Plus, I got an extra $10 because I have some perferred Shopper card from Gamestop. Also, there is a lot less hassle when trading in - I have been burned before with shady buyers.
