    PSP question..plz help!

This is from the cnn article........

"The addition of wireless game play allows as many as 15 PSP owners within a few feet of each other to compete in one of several games. Can't find an opponent close by? In many cases, all you need is a wireless access point to take the game online."

So is this the "online" aspect of the psp???

Or is this basically if some of my boys got one we can play.....let's say twisted metal together??? Kind of like a LAN???

Do you guys get what I'm sayin???

Yea you can either play with people around you...or you can dialin to wireless internet and play with people across the country. It's pretty awesome! Sort of like a laptop with wireless internet if that makes any sense.

Well yes and no. Internet games will be regulated by the developer's servers, like the PS2. Now your friends could do the same and I'm sure you could find a private room, however it's not like having a private LAN. You could theoretically tie 2 private LANs through the internet (I remember subscribing to a computer game service called Kali did that), but I'm not aware of how to do that.
