Re: KOTOR II help: Sunry Case on Manaan
Courtesy of IGN Boards...Have no idea if it works. I didn't try it when I went through the game. I think it's KOTOR, not II though (in case someone hasn't played both).Originally posted by KanobiI was curious to know if there is any way to win this case. Is there a specific cross-examination process ....a certain line of questioning to use? Or is it impossible to win it?
Thanks in advance
Sunry Case...
Start your opening argument by saying no one saw what happened.
Rodian:
-Did you plant the medal
-Did you see the murder
-Was the lady a Jedi
Pazaak Player:
-Did you see the murder
-Did the medal seem out of place
Wife:
-Were your husband and the lady having an affair
Closing argument
-No one actually saw the murder.Mario Kart Wii: 1203 9969 5095

Re: KOTOR II help: Sunry Case on Manaan
I seem to recall I tried those steps and yes they do work. Never thought it was a hard case to win. I wish there was more of this kind of thing in KOTOR 2. I liked the sidequests in KOTOR much more than in KOTOR 2 overall. I loved being able to solve a murder and become a trial lawyer in the first game. Overall I think the first game was better, especially with all the puzzles in it. The second game seemed rather dumbed down to me, and just wasn't as good. On the other hand, I loved the philosophical complications introduced into the second game.Originally posted by caseydCourtesy of IGN Boards...Have no idea if it works. Hmmm...theres no "No one saw what happened" option in my opening statements.Originally posted by caseydCourtesy of IGN Boards...Have no idea if it works. I didn't try it when I went through the game. I think it's KOTOR, not II though (in case someone hasn't played both).

Theres also no "Was the Lady a Jedi" option available when questioning the Rodian. That option is avilable for the Pazaak Player though.
I also notice that strategy doesn't suggest a sequence of questions for Sunry himself. Strange.
What's really weird is that I used Force Persuade on the hotel owner to testify he saw Sunry fleeing the scene before the blaster shot. Yet he still testifies he saw Sunry leaving AFTER the blast.Last edited by Kanobi; 03-23-2005, 05:04 PM.Comment
