Ok I caved...with the wife's blessing of course.

I picked up the system, the pimpout out harshell case (10 bucks well spent) and three games. Lumines, Metal Gear Ac!d, and Tiger.

Pared I used the pspvideo9 and it works great. I converted the Star Wars episode 3 trailer and it went from 78MB down to 24. Played great too I might add.

I only have a 256MB card, but that's all they had. I will eventually get the gig. THis thing is amazing.

I also had a little trouble at first with the network. I didn't have WEP enabled on my router. Once I enabled it the PSP got on the net in no time.

My only gripe is the weakness of the speakers, but everything sounds good on headphones. My wife keeps saying I'm acting like a little kid.....and she's right!

Blockbuster already has the games available for rent.

My wife swung buy BB last night and rented Kev two games (they even come in new sweet lil' UMD cases), NFL Street 2 and THUG.

Where can I get a good summary of what this bad boy can do?

I have done minimal research, but I am looking for a place that sums everything up. I am hearing you can go online and play up to 16 others wirelessly, etc etc.

Also, is is pretty easy to get you hands on one. It seems that way. Thanks.

Also someone answer me this, if I am near my Broadband router, or my Wireless adapter I can go online?

I was trying to go online in NFLS2 and THUG but dont think I was going about it properly.

If you're near your wireless router then you should be able to go online. But you have to setup the networking on the PSP first. Go to network settings/infrastructure mode to set it up. You should try to let it auto setup first. I did a scan and it found my router. However I had problems because I didn't have WEP enabled on my router. Once I did that I was able to setup the PSP with the encryption key and it worked like a charm.

Why wouldn't it connect with WEP turned off? That doens't make any sense. I don't want to have to turn on WEP for this thing to work.

Was it full screen?

I still haven't converted any video b/c I don't have a card (or a USB cable/card reader for that matter) so I don't want to spend time on it.

What setting would you use to get a video FS? I thought the screen size was 480x272... but that's not an option in pspvideo9....
