I also prefer the SC series over the MGS series.

I don't think you can take anything away from either one, except the second half of MGS 2 that strays off the path a bit. If I had to choose between the two, I'd probably go with Metal Gear because of the amazing story and plot twists. Just keeps me glued to the experience whereas I can put SC down for a day or two in single player story mode.

I also prefer the SC series over the MGS series.

I don't think you can take anything away from either one, except the second half of MGS 2 that strays off the path a bit. If I had to choose between the two, I'd probably go with Metal Gear because of the amazing story and plot twists. Just keeps me glued to the experience whereas I can put SC down for a day or two in single player story mode.

I enjoy the splinter cell series as a whole alot more than the mgs series(excluding the original metal gear of course). That said, snake eater is one of the best games i have played the last few years.
