Will call it quits if xbox2 dont beat out ps3 ? The reason why i ask is because im an xbox fan and most people are telling me to wait for the ps3 because sooner or later microsoft will give up on the console side of things. What do you guys think .

I doubt it. As long as they can make some money. They'd settle for #2 if it was close.

Bill Gates won't give up. This is actually a challenge for them to become number 1. If you've already seen, the losses they had on the XBox for the first 2yrs "barely" made a dent on their finances. They have been making money off the XBox for the past year now, so, why give up??? They've got so much money that playing around with the XBox, Xbox Next, and even beyond is something they can do for as long as they want.... and thankfully there seems to be a lot of people at MS that are really into the XBox and making consoles better.

As much as some people hate Microsoft, they are here to stay in the console world. I'm glad they are.
