    Do any of the new PSP sports games include a franchise mode?

    I want to get one, but I need some sort of stat compiler/tracker.

    I know W. G. Hockey does not have a chise.

    Are there others out there that do?

      no just season mode, I doubt you will ever see a franchise mode on the UMD disks, I don't think there's enought room.

              It could happen maybe even later this year when the next set of sports games roll out. MLB 2006 comes on 2 UMD's so this leads me to believe that in the future sports titles can have different modes split into two disks. One for exhibition, season mode etc... and the other for franchise mode, online etc...

MLB 2006 comes on 2 UMD's so this leads me to believe that in the future sports titles can have different modes split into two disks. One for exhibition, season mode etc... and the other for franchise mode, online etc...

                      So your telling me, there going to be two UMD for MLB06, and you saying for the future there will have to be like 3 umd for one game to play a frnachise, i'm sorry but that would be just silly.

                              I don't know about 2-3 but I know MLB 2006 will have two UMD's FOR SURE, just look on the back of the display box. Two disks for one game isn't unheard of, there are GBA games out there like that. Plus 2 disks would make sense, one UMD is 1.8GB so add that up and 3.6GB should be enough to get a franchise mode on there.

                                      I don't think it's something too important, especially right after launch...so many other good games and not many people will play that many games on a portable anyway.

                                                      Well, do any Gamecube games feature franchise modes? I'm not being sarcastic either, I honestly don't know. I say this because the UMD actually has more storage space than a Gamecube disc so if the Gamecube can pull it off I'm sure the PSP can.
