    Does anyone know of a pirate themed game like the old sega game "PIRATES GOLD"??

    i want a Pirate themed game and i dont mean one that follows a movie line like Pirates of the Carribean or the one released a few years ago where you are the lady pirate, i dont remember her name (i want to say black cat). the old sega game "pirates gold" from the 90's was great. you could plunder different national cities in the caribbean and plunder ships all while trying to complete different tasks and keep your crew from mutiny. there needs to be a new version of that game. does anyone know of game similiar to Pirates gold for PC or any game units??

      Pirates! is coming out for the X-Box and Playstation 2 very soon I believe. IGN has some impression writeups on it.

                                  Sea Dogs turns out to be more than the sum of its parts, and its effective combination of three genres makes for an adventure that can be enthralling despite its many problems.


                                  Have you played Pirates of the Carribean? It doesn't follow a storyline really...It's open ended and you can plunder whoever you want. I didn't really care for it, but it is open ended like Pirates was.
