    Twisted Metal 2

Just another yeasteryear thread. Me and my buddy ran through the game about 4 times yesterday for old times sake and I just need to say that TM2 is still one of the best games ever. Sure, the physics sucked and the control was horrid but the gameplay was top notch. My favorite character is Spectre and Axel. I also like the pink Caddy(forgot name) and the Hearst(forgot name). And our fav multiplayer level was the Rooftops level from the first TM. We played about a dozen or so MP matches and it brought back tons of memories. Memories of freezing my guy in mid air and watch him slide off the roof. Messing up the jump combo(left, left, up) and falling to our death. Freezing him and flying pass while leaving a remote bomb at his side. Ahh man, I could go on and on.

Anyone else here a Twisted Metal nut? If so, which one do you consider the best out of the series?

I'm actually really enjoying Twisted Metal Head On for the PSP, reminds me a lot of TM2.

Oh yea, I was wondering how the PSP version is going. I have'nt checked out and reviews or anything. I kinda assumed it was gonna be like TM Black based on the screenshots. TM Black sucked bad.

I like TM2 the best...TM: B isn't too far behind it imo...that's if you're up for the challenge. The sheer sense of scale in TM:B was amazing for it's time.

Twisted Metal was one of my favorite series for the PS1. From a single-player standpoint, TM2 and TM:Black were definitely the best ones.

I also enjoyed 3 and 4 though, solely because I had many long and hard-fought 4-player brawls on the few good levels on those games. Black woulda been a good multiplayer game, but I ruined it by being too good (relative to anyone else I played with) and no one would play with me...

I'm a fan of the series, still have TM 1 and 2 for the PS. I would have to say TM: Black Online is my favorite, the online mode in that game was great its just a shame it never caught on.

I have Twisted Metal: Head On for PSP and that game is great its a mix of Black and TM 2.

I was also a big fan of TM2, Hated 3 and 4, and then Black brought the series back to greatness. Picked up a copy of Head On for the PSP and I am loving it so far
