Re: POker Game
I strongly advise against getting any of the Xbox ones. They're awful, just play on your computer. -
Re: POker Game
They've got a new Poker game coming out later this year called "stacked." It's being developed by Myelin Media. It's being power by the POKI engine.
It also features real pros that have helped design the game...
Daniel Negreanu, David Williams, Evelyn NG, Josh Arieh, Carolos Mortenson, Erick Lindgren, and Jennifer Harmon...
What's cool is the AI in the game adapts to what you do and what the other CPU players do... so techincally the bots on your game will play different than the bots on my game.... it changes the more you play.
"The AI has situational awarness and will remember what happens if it just lots a big pot." The Boss Bots have their own play styles.
As for the Pros. When you go online, if you see one of those Pros in a game room that will really be them and not someone else.
They have a small bit on this game in the current XBox magazine (Half Life 2 cover)
They plan to have leagues and legit prizes for winners.BeyondMediaOnline.comComment

If you think they get lucky all the time, you aren't as good of a player as you think you are. BTW: Not directed at you goh, just a general statement.Comment

Re: POker Game
Guess I should give an example because it is luck.
Playing in the sit & go tournys every time there was at least 1 person to go all in on the 1st hand no matter what they had even if it was 7,2 offsuit or something else really bad. They do lose more than they win but still it's a bad thing.Comment

You even said it yourself, "they do lose more than they win". That is never a bad thing.
I have friends who play sit & go's for a living. They will tell you it isn't luck. Yes, luck plays a HUGE part in it, but if you know what you are doing, and can do it constantly, you will win. And by making a living, I am talking over a $100,000 a year, not nickle and dime stuff.
What levels are you playing? And where at? Were you the one who said they were playing at Party? I can't remember.Comment
