Good RTS games?

I'm looking for a good RTS game to play, outside of Starcraft (just played it too much, can't anymore). Anyone got any recommendations? I kinda like the space theme of Starcraft, so if you can recommend anything similar, please do.

In all seriousness, have you played the Warcraft series? I'd also reccomend something like the Total War series.

I played Warcraft 2 a little when it came out, but it was replaced by Starcraft. I've heard the Total War series is more turn-based with some real-time battles, but is mostly centered on the turn-based part?

And actually, more of the reason I don't play Starcraft is because I just tryed to reinstall it today, and apparently my disc is too scratched, because it wouldn't work.

War Craft 3 and the expansion Frozen Throne are excellent. My favorite RTS game of all time

Any of the "Age of fill_in_the_blank" games
Empire Earth
Warcraft (any)
Rise of Nations (decent, nothing spectacular)
Stronghold and Stronghold Crusaders (something about building castles and beating the other guy's castle down with siege equipment is addicting)
