I was interested in knowing as a whole, but games that are more
realistic or sim based should cover what I was looking for.

The Xbox soccer game with the best AI is Winning Eleven 8.

The Xbox hockey game with the best AI is ESPN NHL 2K5.

That is what I was looking for. I'm not looking for a specific genre.
I'm looking to try a few different games out. I mostly play football
and basketball games, but anything with good AI will work.

I'm thinking of TOCA 2 really and Brothers in Arms mostly right now.
And even chessmasters will work... forgot about that one.

Well, you may want to wait another week or two to hear some impressions about Forza. There's a good chance it may surpass ToCA in the AI department. However, if you're just looking for something cheap, then you can never go wrong with ToCA. It's a great game.

PK's other two choices, WE8 and ESPN NHL 2K5, are hands down the best in their genre.
