I have wireless so use my laptop. I set it up so I can plug my PS2 into the laptop's network card with a crossover cable.

they also sell gaming wireless ports, which let you plug the system into the port with ethernet, and then the port connects to your wireless network.

Your basic options are to set up some wireless network, or start drillin and get an ethernet cable from 1 floor to the other (if it's into a basement it's really not that hard)

yeah, i had to tinker a bit but was pretty easy getting the PSP online if you know routers a bit

Mine works fine through my laptop. Don't have any experience with the wireless gaming ports.
