I pray that these aren't real. IMO, they're even uglier than the XBOX!

And I don't see any controller ports...

I saw these pics a couple months ago. Pesonallly, I think it's ugly.
As for the controller ports, I'd imagine that both next-gen systems would have wireless controllers.

Seems odd that Sony would make up a compilation picture like this and not release it. Especially since these are at least a couple of months old.

I actually don't mind this look though, all of the additional hardware features are going to lead to bigger consoles. It looks pretty sleek to me.

Yeah I saw those awhile ago too. It does look like a projector or a really big binocular case.

Good point on the wireless controllers. That slipped my mind. But man... is that thing ugly!

Very strange, considering Sony retooled the PS2 to make it even smaller than the original unit, which already was smaller than an Xbox.

This thing looks positively bulbuous.

This was released way before the PSP and these pics have a UMD slot, so maybe there is some kind of truth to them.

Of course the hardware in the PS3 will be better than that in the PS2 and will take up more space. The PS3 will be some size(maybe the size of the original PS2, maybe bigger) and then about a year before they are ready to release the PS4 technology will have improved enough to make a much smaller version of the PS3. And the cycle will repeat. Moore's rule of thumb coming into play here.
