          It didn't release ANY games in april?

          Good god, that system is as good as dead.

              It was a tough choice, but we realized that with no games released in April, the winner could only be nothing. Nothing's minimalist graphics proved a bit too primitive for some gamers, and with no gameplay to fall back on, it failed to dazzle most critics. But in the end the lack of any competition helped make the decision easier.


              though it is concerning when a system goes 1/12 of a year without releasing a game

                  I honestly don't know why anyone would own a gamecube.

                      just for a handful of games: Mario Kart, Mario Tennis, anything Zelda and Metroid. Yep. That's about it.

                              I would get tired of playing zelda and mario games over and over again. There are a couple of games that I like but I don't see why someone would buy a seperate system just for a few games. And that damn controller has to be the most poorly designed controller in history. Whoever came up with that thing needs to be slapped.

                                      Gamecube is not a system to own as a main console, but it's worth having along side Xbox and PS2 for it's 1st party stuff. Still pretty pathetic that it had zero releases last month..

                                          I play Gamecube (well Smash Brothers) more than any other system. My fraternity has an unhealthy addiction to it.

                                                      Um, lets see, people would own a GameCube for, RESIDENT EVIL 4!!!

                                                      But, besides that and Zelda, mario kart, and metroid, no there is no reason to own one.

                                                          The Cube is a nice complimentary system if you already have a PS2 and/or XBox. It's really not that bad... I actually prefer EA Sports games on it for some reason.

                                                          Still, 0 games in a month is seriously pathetic.
