Re: Brilliant move by Microsoft
Brilliant move indeed. I like how they are staggering the Xbox-Live approach. Perhaps next they'll move into the electronics stores; Circuit City, Best Buy, etc.

This moves strengthens my belief that Xbox 360 will be the next console of choice. PS3 will be an excellent system too but I just think the Xbox team is making all the right moves prior to the launch. The fact that they have an awesome lineup of game developers is a huge get for MS and the potential residual effect goes without saying. Kudos to the team over at Xbox.Comment

Great move.
Even if the 360 doesn't succeed as much as they expect, you can't fault them for not trying to cover every gaming angle they can think of. Many companies have fallen to the trap of trying to capitalize on their past laurels. Microsoft looks like they are very determined to not become another victim of that same trap.Comment

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: Brilliant move by Microsoft
One thing that I'm wondering is how will this be affected when the joining of EBgames & Gamestop start taking off next year. I know that they won't have them at every store, but this is some breaking news. There are so many horizons opened with this. I just see Microsoft giving the consumer what the consumer only dreams about. I love that Gates Kid!!Comment
