Anyone pick this up? I was in the open beta and early access program, and am impressed with what I've seen so far. It's not the WoW clone that everyone claims it to be. The graphics are superb and the game mechanics pretty good for a MMO launch. It comes without the many problems that plagued Age of Conan. Anyway, just wondering if there's anyone out there with it. I believe I'm on the IronRock server.

I got it last night. I'm on Heldenhammer. Got up to lvl 5 last night. Was pretty cool.

I'm a High Elf Swordmaster. We're way underbalanced. Everyone is Horde. I like how the landscape changes, physically depending on who controls what territory.

I enjoy every MMO that comes out, at least for a little while. Dark Age of Camelot was my first real MMO, and this has a very similar vibe. Since I actually had hope for Vanguard, and still think Conan has a great combat system that went into the toilet due to some serious post-launch design decisions, I have refrained from telling anybody what I think about this one.

The higher I get the more I like it. Had a great party last night of 6 and did some quality RVR and PQ. So much for fun when you work as a group.

This game is causing me to lose too much sleep though.

So, is this like EQ where you pretty much have to group in order to move up?

You pretty much have to group once you get past tier 1...but unlike EQ, the majority of the game is focused on RvR and fighting other players, so you don't want to try to storm a keep solo.

You need to d/l the war client. It runs in your tray. Once you play it will upload your info and update it every time you play.

I'm LVL 16 going on 17. I'm hearing Tier 3 is dead though so I'm thinking about rolling an alt to let the rest of the world catch up.

No guild for me yet.
