Well after 2 weeks of not playing again, I shut my account down for good. WOTLK lost it's appeal really fast for me, not even sure why.

Re: WoW OSers?
Are you quitting too?
I think they made a huge mistake making it easy to level for any person- they dont learn anything about their class and there they are, in a raid with you with absolutely no concept. If you even want to have a legit raid, you need to commit your week nights to it which I absolutely will not do. The game got too repetitive for me, not sure if I caused it with all the leveling I've done.Aaron

Yep, for the time being, I am done with it.

I agree with all that, especially commiting so many weeknights to raids and so many nights in general. There are some guilds that demand 4 nights a week! It's a damn game, not a part time job.PS: You guys are great.

Re: WoW OSers?
Bump from oblivion.
I've been playing very casually for the past month or so, slowly getting my Death Knight through Outlands and into Northrend.
Started a buddy out with a recruit a friend program and we have been smashing up levels as Horde. Triple XP makes the game fly by.
Anyway today update 3.3 came out with a nice little dungeon finder that replaces the old and terrible 'looking for a group' channel.Comment

Re: WoW OSers?
If you are a subscriber and you refer a friend (someone who doesn't play) then when you and your friend play together and are within 3 or 4 levels you both get triple xp from Level 1 to 60. That is for mobs and quests.Comment

Re: WoW OSers?
I still play a bit.
The new patch is pretty cool. I like the new cross server dungeon finder. It has worked really well, I've never found it so quick and easy to get into instances and the extra xp and gold from using it randomly is nice.
I have an 80 alliance rogue but got her during the first ever 3xp refer-a-friend so skipped a lot of content so have been levelling a Dwarf Rogue (?!) and he's now 75.
My server is apparently 69% horde though which sucks.Comment

Re: WoW OSers?
I'm doing the refer a friend right now with a Horde Warrior as my alt. Its going by extremely quick - especially feeding my char and my buddies with gold from my main. We just hit 20 after not even 8 hours.Comment

Re: WoW OSers?
Then for every 2 levels the friend levels up, he can grant a level to any of the referrer's alts if it's the same as before.
So as a friend, I got to level 60 with triple xp (3xp stopped at 60) and then could grant 30 free levels to my mate who referred me.
He got his hunter from 30 to 60 in 1 min
We were in Stormwind and I was granting levels, and this guy saw my mate ding 30 times in a minute and thought we were cheating. He asked how we did it and I said I bribed the GM lol!Comment

Re: WoW OSers?
Sweet, I didn't even know about this. I am definitely going to make another alt when my friend gets to 60. Quick bump to 30 never hurt anybody. Then for every 2 levels the friend levels up, he can grant a level to any of the referrer's alts if it's the same as before.

Played for about 5 years. My main is an elemental shaman on skywall. The game doesn't get old for me.Comment

Re: WoW OSers?
Just got my main DK to Leve 70, yeah, I am taking my time and only play a couple hours a week.
Over the holidays I have been playing Horde with the first time with my buddy on the Refer a Friend program. We have our characters up to Lvl 35 already. Quick and fast way to Level 60.Comment
