This may be my next mmo. If anyone ever played Everquest 1 and 2 knows who Scott Hartsman is. He's now in charge of this game and they have some very well known developers from Wow, AoC, Vanguard and other various Mmo's.

Thanks for the info trob. Was really looking to beta testing this game. Might be my next mmo from LOTRO.

Thanks, I used it to see if my 08 Macbook can handle it. I am to spec but a little underpowered with the graphics card. We'll see if I turn down everything how it goes.

I'm running Windows 7 through Boot Camp and it seems to be running fine on low settings. I'm upgrading to 4GB of ram this week which will help, too.

I'm on Byriel, a Defiant rogue (marksman, ranger, saboteur).

Leveled to 7 and out of the first starter area. Really liking this game, Graphics are great, skill trees are really interesting. Still getting into it and used to everything but first impressions are positive.

I'm at level 5 and am liking what I'm seeing. My macbook is running it fine on low settings which is good enough for me. I forget the server to be honest, Ill post my info around lunch.

Was part of my first "rift" in game while lvl 8 and I have to say it just takes the mmorpg genre to the next level.

It's just so unique and dynamic. That's actually the right word. The first dynamic mmorpg.

Going back for more punishment.

I'd be all over this game if they made it for Mac. Im just going to have to appreciate it from youtube. I could easily see this as a game wich makes me forget about wow.

Very excited about this one. The common "tongue & cheek" amongst MMO gamers has always been that Blizzard is great at taking the best ideas from other MMOs and incorporating them into WoW. This appears to be the first time a different developer team has taken a page out of the Blizzard playbook and ripped ideas straight from WoW. The cool thing about this Dev team though, is that not only does this game have elements of WoW, it's very easy to see shades of other "popular" MMOs like Warhammer and Aion.

This will be my first MMO Collector's Edition pre-order, and while I'm not going to give up on WoW right away, I've already heard rumblings from within my gaming group that we could eventually switch to this game as a primary. We're going to have to wait and see if the end-game has as much polish as the early game, but as of right now I've heard and seen nothing but positives from this game.
