Who's running WoW at the max, graphics wise?

I doubt anyone is, but just wondering.

I still have the settings at default. I tried boosting them up but got some bad lag. I'm a computer novice so I don't know if that's because of my connection or my comp power or both or what.

    I've got a dual 2.5 ghz g5 with a gig of ram.

    what about you guys?

I upped it quite a bit and seems to be ok, just some lag when I take griffin or wind strider rides...I'll probably lower them a bit and see if that helps. I only have 512 mb of ram, might up that

I'm not sure, I'll tinker with it, I mostly take a little while to load lvls, and i've read that the lag when flying is memory related. I think if it runs well most of the time then it'd just be network congestion, I'd tinker with it and see if you can use the higher setting most of the time

That's bizarre...I have terrain distance upped to about 90%, and max everything else...and it's smooth as silk. My rig is as old as dirt, too...I just keep it clean, reformat every 6 months, and make sure it's good to go for gaming.

AthlonXP 2100, a gig of PC2100 DDR, and a Radeon 9800 Pro. Not exactly top of the line crap anymore (although it was when I bought it almost 3 years ago hah). It even runs decently on my wife's rig set at defaults (Athlon 1000, a gig, and a GeForce3 Ti500).

Something might be wrong in your system, bro.
