What timezone are all of you WoW players in?

    Central here.

So which is it? I think we should change servers if most of us are in a certain zone. Windrunner is getting lag for me. It's always had lag.

I just tried out a different server this afternoon and even though it was rated 'high', it was better than Windrunner for me.

If we do make a switch, it would be better to do it now, before everyone's at level 50 or whatever.

after some reading, I found out that it doesn't matter anymore which timezone you're in. All the realms should be the same.

    so this can be deleted.

I'd say play on whatever server you want to. At this point, barely any of us hook up anymore anyway. They removed the time zone tabs because of all the confusion. Most of the servers are in a centralized location; they had time zones to get players in those zones together so they all had the same relative play slots (according to a Blizzard rep in Beta).

I was just the first around here to get into the retail game, and my wife is on Windrunner. There's no way I change, but that's a moot point. Play wherever you guys want to play, it's all about fun.

I think come the new year we'll be able to team more, you have to once you hit 20 really...also I think we need to try and share the quests, that'll help too

we had some good streaks on the horde as a team, i'm working up my human to run, but I'm glad that people are near my Dwarf Rogue, that'll be fun to run with people I know

I'm on in MST, but play days and night - timezone barely matters.

I dunno - maybe it's just me, but WoW just doesn't seem as friendly to arranged groups. No SK/Exemplar, massive travel times, sharing quests is confusing, etc. I group often, but my usual hookup with OSers is through tells.

It's also hard to team up because everyone seems to keep changing their minds about who they're going to be, horde/alliance.

I think it'd be cool to just stick with something.

I started a gnome mage on a different server and it's going well. But I don't really want to do all that over on windrunner unless I have to.

also, I found it more fun when last night on that other server, me and a friend grouped up. We weren't even in the same town. We were doing our own stuff, leveling up. But if we needed the other to help us with a quest, we'd just say so, and we were chatting the whole time.

It was relaxed and less confining.

Where previously, I'd feel restricted when I was grouped with people. I felt like I had to follow them around all the time.

The main thing I want to know is, are we going to focus on the horder? or the alliance? Cause I'm not good at multitasking. If I'm playing a Horde character, then I don't play with anything else, for example.

yeah, I'd chat with Terry a lot when playing...just gotta get all the friends names in on my chars...

my main is the Dwarf Rogue, I think I'd like to run with that, but I also like my troll mage, so I could go with either.

For me, my wife doesn't like anything about Horde, and loves her Night Elf druid. I play with my wife most of the time, so I'm Alliance 99% of the time, and I'll be on Windrunner only.
