Stealthing around can make some quests a lot easier, you don't have to charge in and take everything out, you can sneak in, get the item you need to click, and leave, sometimes just taking one or two guys out.

One of the reasons I started a rogue. I got tired (as a druid) of having to get thing X out of a camp/cave/house .... and needing to kill everything between me and it. Slow and dangerous.

This way I can sneak in, get what I need, and sneak out.
