WoW: The Ultimate Money maker
I rolled character last Friday (Undead Warlock) and wanted to go with tailoring so I could make some Cloth armor for myself. Nothing really goes hand in hand with Tailoring so I decieded I would take an easy profession just to make some cash. The profession of choice was skinning and it has made me a ton of cash. Currently I am able to fetch 15 Silver for a stack of Light Leather at the auction house. Much better than the 1.5 Silver selling it to a merchant. It sells like hotcakes too. Take about 5 stacks to the AH, within the 8 hour time frame it has been bought outright.

yeah, i've heard that if you want to do tailoring/enchanting it's better to start with tailoring/skinning and earn money until lvl 30 or so, because then you'll be able to afford the enchanting stuff a lot more, and not be cash poor at a lower level. I hear some people do 2 gathering out of skinning/herb/mining, that makes you a lot of money, but you don't make stuff you can use. Re: WoW: The Ultimate Money maker
enchanting's rough to start, because no one wants to really pay for any of the lower enchantments...have you had much luck selling enchants to other players?Originally posted by CloverI have an enchanter/tailor. She is always farming just to enchant...
So, I rolled me a rogue last night so I can stab folks in the back and then skin them for hides. Hope it works.
oh, I've also heard the ones that make a weapon glow sell very well, because people like colors

Re: WoW: The Ultimate Money maker
Haven't tried to sell any at all. I am in a guild and they help support my bad habits. Not really trying to get rich, just have fun.
I want to learn the cute glow enchants. I carry two axes and would like for them to have color too!
Nothing like a troll's hips on fire?!!
You're right it seems like everyone is asking for them.Comment

I think it's minor beastslayer that can get around 70 silver or something...enchanting was a lot of fun, I just got kinda tired of being a poor little waif begging for change or green itemsOriginally posted by CloverHaven't tried to sell any at all.
