I was grouping with my mid 40's priest tonight, in the Scarlet Monestary, and got all kinds of hate from a damn paladin. It was with a higher lvl priest, and two mid 30s and the 39 pally.
She was bitching the whole time about us (priests) not doing our jobs.
I'm a shadow priest, so direct healing is secondary. The other priest was a normal one, but she was leading us through the instances, and sometimes would draw enemies before we were done drinking, and get mad if we didn't heal her enough. She didn't seem to realize that healing uses mana, and that eventually runs out, so we can't heal all the time.
What made her mad the most, was dying. Now, I'm used to dying, it doesn't really bother me, but the first time she died, which was quite a ways into our instance, she got really pissed.
Then at the end when we all realized it was pointless to go on, she insulted us by saying that she had gotten further earlier with no lvl 40's in her group. And that "you'd think that with two priests, we could do this" or somesuch.
Truth is, the more there are of us, the worse it is. We have very low attack power so we can't kill stuff quickly.
I'm not really pissed or anything, cause it's a game, but it's confusing and annoying why people can be so dumb with regards to their dealings with priests.
On another note, are all paladins arrogant nerd warrior wannabes?
I was doing some quest a few weeks ago, saw a paladin with two guys on him, so I just healed him, and he replied with something like "I'm a tank, I can take two guys at once."
