I was in the beta, and didn't care for it at all.

Terrible performance, unintuitive interface, generally unappealing storylines/quests.

Ouch. I've wanted to hear how this game was also... Doesn't look very promising...

I made this same reply somewhere else (forget where it was tho, probably in non sports gaming main forum)...same thing as Mark. I was in beta early on, and you guys know how I love MMO's at first.

                This one I didn't.

I just couldn't get into it. Apparently it leans heavily on the story aspect, and that's about the only cool part there is. If you kill a main character in the game, he'll stay dead if they make more movies. Every event in the game is treated as canon, and it's the "true" sequence of events after the movies. That part is pretty cool. Too bad the game is as lively as an 80 year old hooker.

I loved the Matrix movies, but I couldn't get into the game either. Besides the story aspect and the fighting there is NOTHING at all to do besides code craft stuff.

                    I miss UO dearly!

With or without her dentures in....?? I could have seen them getting something on a console with a better structure or something but it just doesn't flow well. If Matrix Online was more like the structure I'm hearing from Jade Empire, then I'd definitely get on that wagon. Real-time fighting with a wide open world to explore and people to recruit. Something like Kotor but better graphics and the ability to get out of the matrix and possibly fight sentinels and stuff.
