    College Textbooks

I know there are more than a few guys on the boards who attend college, so I thought I'd spread the word. If any of you do not know, Half.com is an awesome way to get your textbooks a lot cheaper than through your college bookstore. Not only that, you can get more money for your books selling them on Half.com as well, rather than "selling" them back to the bookstore. Just a little heads up for you college guys.

    Half.com is good.

Sometimes I just sell them back at the bookstore, because I'm too lazy to do the whole Half.com stuff. Plus, I buy them from friends or the bookstore because sometimes I need the book right away, and Half.com takes awhile.

But it is a good site.

damn.. all these non business people driving the prices down... THOSE *#&$&#^.

why not about ten people sell something at 20 bucks. instead each person trys to undercut the other by 2 cents. by that time, its down to 9.99, and then it gets swamped and we see prices of 5. everyone could easily sell their books for 20, but instead they want money fast and instead lose out on 15 bucks. 3 days wait and 15 extra bucks vs. instantly sell on day 1 for $4.99... id take the 15.

all this non business educated sellers make buying quick and cheap

also, i forgot who, back in september, recommended a great site that basically showcases and lists all of the leading websites on one page. they have half.com, amazon.com.. you can easily compare and contrast which website has the better deal. Anybody remember that name?
