Re: Plans For New Year's Eve?
Nothing major. I went up a co-worker's house for a small gathering, not really a party. It was fun though. We played Scene-It and I went undefeated. Beginner's luck I suppose. Watching Dick Clark was a downer though and Mariah Carey has the voice of an angel and the image of a tramp. One of my friends there is also friends with my AP English teacher from highschool, so she was there too. Overall, pretty cool night.

Re: Plans For New Year's Eve?
Me and my fiance met up with my best friend and his wife down at my dad's house for some food, drink, and fireworks. Always great when you don't have to supply any of the three. We sat off some fireworks, played a game of Loaded Questions, then fired off some more explosives, and bid my parents farewell for the evening. From there we headed back to my best friend's house so that I could get my drink on. See, I was the one of the four of us who got trashed on Xmas Eve, so I was the one who was the involuntary DD for NYE. So, I drove their drunk asses over there, we threw 40 Year Old Virgin in, and I hit the sauce.
The ladies started to drift off to sleep right about the time we were good and toasted and starting to catch our second wind, so, of course we proceeded to be our usual loud, obnoxious selves. I think we both ended up laying down with our significant others around 8 or so in the morning. We then got up around 11, the two of us drove to McDonald's to pick up some lunch, and proceeded to play a game each of SceneIt and ESPN SceneIt -- I finished in second in the first game, and won the sports edition. It was about four by this point, and we decided we should probably be heading home, so, that's what we did. And just like that, our NYE festivities were over.
Here's a rather funny pic of me and my best friend sitting on his couch at 5:30 New Years morning while he was on his laptop making a drunken blog entry on MySpace that somehow didn't end up getting posted. It was good times.
