Because over the Christmas holidays, I got the news that my mom is pregnant.
When she first told me, my initial reaction was "holy crap". My mom didn't know whether to take that as good or bad. It was just a sudden shock, because I assumed that it was all over, and plus it didn't seem like my stepdad wanted any children.
I'm very excited for this to be happening. The kid will actually be my half-brother , but I'll think of him as my real brother, but because of the age difference, it will seem more like an uncle instead. I'll be 21 when the kid is born and when he or she graduates college, I'll be 39 years old.
Any OSers have a large age difference between siblings?
I would just like for your prayers over the next 8 to 9 months in hopes that this baby is healthy.
