Depaul, LSU and St. Johns

I am not positive I'll get into LSU since it's a state school, but if I had to choose between SJU and Depaul, it'd be a tough one.

Depends on where you wanna be, I guess... New York or Chicago... I can tell you there's a lot to do in NY, that's for sure.... Never been to Chicago (although I've always wanted to visit there),so I can't make a comparison... I guess you can't go wrong either way.

And LSU is a choice because I have family a couple blocks away from the campus and I was born in Baton Rouge.

BTW, how far is the campus away from the United Center and Wrigley Field? I'm almost certain I'll be a Bulls and Cubs fan after I get there.

I went there for a year during my college career. At the Theatre School (one of the nation's best).

It's not far from either, especially since you're right by the EL. You just hop on the EL, and it's a short trip to either.

And speaking of the EL - at the Depaul station, don't miss out on Demon Dogs, a Chicago institution. Great, cheap hot dog place.

Speaking of hot dog joints, if you wind up at SJU, you can check out Papaya's in Manhattan, a NY institution... Can't beat 50 cent hot dogs after a night of carousing at the clubs...

But of course, if your criteria is hot dogs, you can stay right here in the Triangle, and hit up Snoopy's.... LOL

So here I am, in the friendly confines of a Best Western Hotel in Rosemont, IL. I spent all day Friday walking around Chicago and the area where DePaul is, and I have to say I am pleased and very much at rest with my decision to come so far away. There will be so much to do in my free time while I'm not studying or something and everything is so close together.

I am THOROUGHLY disappointed in the females here though. Maybe it was something about a Friday afternoon after school (sarcasm), but the good looking girls were hardly anywhere to be found. Most of the girls here look extremely average, none made me want to stop and stare, like when I visited NY. Nothing but no-bottom, pasty white girls, and I saw hardly any black women, and hardly any minorities.

We'll see.

Overall, however, I am impressed and I can't wait to come back in the fall!
