Co-sign on the malls... I think I've been to all the ones in the area with the exception of one.... There's Streets at Southpoint in Durham, Triangle Town Center and Crabtree Valley Mall in Raleigh, and Cary Towne Center... I've not been to the mall in Cary... All the other ones are pretty solid... I usually go to Southpoint or Triangle Town Center since Crabtree is right near my house, and I always pass by there...

The Cary Towne Center mall is a good one for us teenagers. Almost every time I go I see a lot of my friends, and a lot of my friends work at a store in there. It's a cool little hang out spot.
Southpoint is probably my favorite mall though.

I like Southpoint a lot as well, they've got that cool sporting goods shop with all the jerseys and memorabilia.... I also like Triangle Town Center a lot. Usually it's for a day out when there's nothing else to do... So the wife likes to walk around and window shop... Sometimes we'll get enterprising and hit the outlets in Smithfield, or the one by the airport... We might go to Concord Mills out by Charlotte in a couple weeks, though... I heard there are some deals to be had out there... Crabtree Valley Mall gets boring cause I'm always near there, for Sears, Barnes and Noble, or the other stores around the area...
I'm off of Hwy 70/Glenwood Avenue, by Brier Creek... What area are you in, 3rd?Last edited by TarHeelMan; 02-21-2006, 08:43 AM.Comment

Re: Going to NC the first week of March...
Hey guys, once again I'm going back to NC from April 20-29. During that span, da Bulls will be playing, what bars are close to the Cary area? And what other things are there to do? Last time I went, I was stuck with my brother, who is younger, so I was kinda limited to the bar scene.
This year, I'm going with my brother and his girlfriend. Who are all of legal age to drink, so I'll have more company to head to the bars and watch the games. If anyone has any suggestions on where to go, it will be much appreciated.

Shouldn't take you that long to get to Glenwood South from Cary... That's where all the bars and nightspots are... There's a nice Latin club/restaurant in Morrisville that I take my wife to when she needs to satisfy that Puerto Rican craving for salsa, Carmen's Cuban Cafe... Pretty cool spot by the outlets, right off of I-40.Comment
