    NCoffey:

    A few tips:

    1. State your responsibilities and accomplisments during your work experience. Be brief, though. Don't say:

    SALES CONSULTANT, Best Buy

    Something more like:

    SALES CONSULTANT, Best Buy
*Managed team of six salespersons in electronics department. Led team to 200 percent increase in sales in 2005.

Also, don't state an objective on your resume. They're incredibly stupid. You can put all of the flowery bullsh*t like "Want to use my strengths and talents to benefit the company," when in reality the objective of anyone who sends a resume should read, "I want to f*cking work for your company."

No manager worth their salt even looks at the objective listed on a resume. You can outline your strengths and talents, and how they will help the company, in your cover letter.

You're accompanying this resume with a cover letter, right? It's essential.

    Take care,
    PK

I agree about the Objective line, it is just rosey bs.
