tonight for my daughter Alyssa. I just left her in the Hospital with her mom, she got sick yesterday morning, she was vomiting all day Sunday, from 7am until now. She still has a really bad fever and she badly dehydrated, and to think she's was running around and having a blast playing in her grandmother yard yesterday, I took her to the hospital yesterday and they had to hook her up to an ivee and sent her home, the hospital should have kept right then and there, but the dumb @$$ hospital and they sent her home last night, My daughters doctor works for the Hospital I went tom and he was pissed that they didn't keep her last night, the crazy thing is I work for that Hosptial.. Anyway at my hospital they only let one parent say overnight, wich I think is so stupid, but my fiancee is staying with her tonight, I just left my daughter about 10 minutes ago, and she had a fever of 104.0%, thats really scares me, I love my baby girl and she's only 3 and I never seen her so weak and sick before, anyway let me stop writting this before a grown mans breaks down....

Just say a pray if you can, thanks guys.

I do not have children of my own, but no one wants to see a child weak and sick. You certainly will receive a prayer from me tonight before any other prayer goes out. God bless your daughter and family as you go through this.

My prayers are w/ you bro and your daughter. That is really weird that they only allow one parent to spend the night. She will be under good care at the hospital.

It's really scary, my daughter was in the hospital in Jan w/RSV, keep us updated.

I went through this last year when my daughter had pneumonia. She was in the hospital for 4 days. its a very scary sitation man, you feel so helpless as a parent because there isnt much you can do for them.


Dont worry too much, all will be well man. I do think its stupid that only one parent can stay...me and her mother stayed every night she was there.

I will pray for her. I don't have kids but I really felt for my cousin and her hubby when one of their kids had to go to hospital because of a diabetes problem. I went and visited the hospital and it was so heartbreaking to see the child so helpless.

Quick update, Everything seems like it's going ok right now, i got a preety bad scare from my girl this morning when she called, my daughters Temp was at 104.6, I know kids can handle a high temp better then some adults, but that scared me. She's still not eating, but she looks a little better. before I left they took the temp again and it's now down to 100.3, wich is great, my dauther is slowy getting better from wht I can see, but I just came home for a few minuets and i thought I stop by to say thanks to a all who prayed and I'm really thankful. Thanks Guys.

I will be home later tonight. I came home to get some mony to by my dauther a present at Toys R us....Later guys.

wow, I remember my son got a temp close to that and we had to take him to the hospital. Looks like she will be okay now.

FF, I got in on this late, but I want to extend my warmest wishes to you and your family at this time... I'm happy to hear that things are looking up... I've had my two boys in the hospital at separate times, and there's no words that can explain the pain that you feel... I hope your little girl continues to improve....
