Got all the parts - now I'm wondering if anyone has some tips and/or sites I should visit before I start this up. Like - what order to do things, etc. Anything is helpful!

Your MB should have basic instructions. Basically the order I did:
Make sure you handle things by the edges and ground yourself before doing so. (use a static wristband or touch metal parts on the case)
1) Install Case fans
2) Mount the MB
3) Install CPU, CPU heatsink and fan and RAM
4) Install Power Supply, leaving cables unconnected
5) Install Hard Drives and CD Drives, etc
6) Connect cables for devices already installed except MB power
7) Install peripherals (vid card, extra USB, sound card, etc)
8) Connect all additional cables such as LED lights, etc.
9) Once everything is in, I hook it up and power it on with the case open. Make sure not to touch anything inside the case while it's plugged in. Make sure all fans are running and wires are clear of the fans.
Let me know if you have any more specific questions and make sure you read through the documentation for each device as they should all contain instructions.Comment
