Strange Stuff

Hey guys , This is kinda 2 posts in one for me. 1 - I never really congradulated myself for my 1000 post so I figured i'd say Thatz is great to be in this Gaming-Sports Family with most of you guys.

Other reason for makin this post was just to inform a few of my wrestling fans, and sport guys i have chats with on here why i havent been around much since Tuesday. I have came down with this thing Called Optical Niritus (SP) i honestly have no idea how to spell it but that is what i have. My left Eye's vision went from 20/20 to know 20/400 , Really sucks . I have been taking Steroid Injections for the last 3 days to help the swelling go away and the Headaches. I had an MRI on Friday to make sure there was no Tumor, Ms or anything else up there Makin this happen and as of now it looks like I got lucky.

Now The only thing left is wait 4-8 weeks to see if my vision comes back , Some come backs or none come backs. I know itz not the worse thing in the world at all and I know plenty of yall have had worse, But I know everyone here is very helpful with Putting a Prayer in for there own Posters so i figured it wouldnt hurt.

Has anyone else here ever had this by any chance? Well Thanks guys and everyone have a good weekend and Definatly Cherish both those eyes, Later guys..I plan on definatly being active again here soon:wink:

WOW CB, I hope that everything is alright man. I will say a prayer for you so your vision comes back 110%. I know you said it's not the worst thing in the world, but it is bro when you start losing your vision. Take Care

Dude it is so odd...It is actually pretty rare for most people under like the AGe of 40 from what like all 5 of my eye doctors have told me.

The strange this is the way it is caused...It is caused from a Virus I could of had anytime in my life...I had Mono 2 years ago so it could of been that or any virus i've had since i was born, and My body didnt fight it off completely and the Virus ended up going to my brain and Messing up my vision in the left eye.

The thing is both my eyes can see everything its just the Virus is blocking My nerves in my eyes so none of my vision goes to my brain so I cant see. As of now my right eye is still 20/20 so Itz looking like My chances of atleast going back to good vision are good...Just now i have to do the waiting game


Candyman aka Not sure what ur new name is..haha Metropolis maybe , I know what your sayin man I definatly was pretty freaked out when all this started b/c i was like Dang Vision is one of the Most important things so I sure hope it all comes back.

Definatly man..I actually start taking these Steroid Pills for 14 days starting on Monday to keep the Swelling down and down

Yea I kept popping jokes to all my nurses about how I hope they dont write a book about me on Steroids and I'll have to deny it all on my own ESPN show..Thanks man, I actually laughed pretty hard at it :wink:

I hope you get better bro so you could post in the wrestling bds again. It's funny, lately I've been considering donating to OS again...................and possibly getting my old name back. It's been causing a lot of confusion w/ what I did around here.
