<p>Hey guys, Just had to share this "T.J. is a moron" story with you all. Easter Sunday. I pick up my fiance from the airport (she flew back in from NJ, doing wedding planning stuff) at around noon. We decide to run home, change into our bathing suits, go grab some food, and since it was sunny and 85 degrees, we decided to head to the beach. Now, I drive a '98 Land Rover Discovery, and we have a beach here that lets you drive a 4-wheel drive car right onto it, so we decided to go that route instead of looking for a parking spot. So far, so good...</p>
<p>We pull onto the beach and start driving down, having a blast. I love driving that thing. We decide to hang a right and drive near the intercoastal waterway for a bit, because there are all these cool little lagoons over there and it's pretty secluded. We come up on what I thought was a very shallow patch of water, so I decide to be a badass and try to drive through it.</p>
<p>Big mistake. I get about 5 feet into it, and the entire right side of my car becomes submerged. This water is a lot deeper than I anticipated. I try to crank the car back up, but nothing. I am officially stuck. Water is coming in through the right side of the vehicle. My fiance and I flee.</p>
<p>I call 911 on my cell to have someone come out to tow us out. 2 hours, 3 police officers, and a helluva lotta passing bystanders later, two wreckers pull me out using a wench. Because all of my electrical stuff is under the seat of the passenger side, and because that half of the car was in water, the car is officially dead. Good thing I'm insured. Thought you guys might like to see some pictures from the whole fiasco. I gotta have a good sense of humor about it. I'd go crazy otherwise... [</p>
