Please don't drink and drive.

One of my close friends made that mistake on Saturday night, and lost his life. He made a really poor choice, especially when you consider that four other people were in the car (one is in a coma, the other three are OK). On a similar note, a friend of a friend, did the exact same thing last night, and lost his life.

I'm not going to tell you guys how to live your life. I know most of you will continue to have a few beers and drive home, I've done it, everyone has. But when these two people got in the car, and the passengers, they all must of felt that they were "sober enough to drive". Please guys, don't make the same mistake they did.

sorry to hear about your loss dieselboy.. i made a bad mistake like that about 9 years ago trying to drive home drunk.. thankfully it took the fact i discovered i was going down the wrong way of a parkway exit ramp.. drinking & driving is not cool.. it affects not only you, but your passengers, & others around you as well..

Sorry to hear. This is definitely a growing problem in the US and it's especially pretty bad in a city like Vegas. I see something on the news just about everyday, quite sad.

I know most people THINK they can drive and THINK they're not drunk but even if you had 1 drink, it's not worth it man. Remember this, if you're the drunk driver and you end up in a accident that takes someone's life.. that's prison time, not jail. Think twice about it.

One of my classmates was killed by a drunk driver a few months back.

Drinking and driving can ruin so many lives, but it seems like people are doing it more and more often.

The sad thing is that, despite taking every single precaution yourself, a drunk driver can end your life in a heartbeat.

I have no respect for anybody who drinks and drives. By doing so, you potentially put the life of a child on the line. That's inexcusable- this is not a simple mistake people make. It makes me sick thinking about people who drink and drive.

The message clearly isn't getting around. No matter how much my school holds these "Don't Drink and Drive" type of stuff... you always here some kind of drinking and driving related accidents happening to people at my school.

I have no respect for people who drink and drive too. It's obvious people lack the common sense to figure that if you drink you will never be sober enough to drive.

I know this goes the other way too. You can be sober and driving and some drunk schmuck will hit you head on and he'll be fine while you're dead...

It's pathetic and sad.

Those school "Don't Drink and Drive" things don't work because kids just don't care. Heck, most of them probably don't even pay attention to the presentation.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend Diesel.

I worry about my friends when they go to parties. I stay at home because I feel that drinking at my age is a waste of time and just utterly stupid. But I am always scared that something will happen and I don't want to have to even think about what I would do if I lost any of my friends to something as stupid as drunk driving.

But then I realize that I could be just as easily in danger whenever I step behind the wheel, drunk or not.

It is scary.
