    Rain

    Basement flooded.

    Nowhere to go.

    This blows.

If school isn't cancelled tomorrow I'll be pissed. I'm in Massachusetts by the way, how is things for the rest of your notheasterners?

I'm in Melrose. Water is coming out of the manholes like a water fountain. We're supposed to get another couple inches tonight so I imagine some schools will be cancelled, at least on the North Shore. I'm off the hook for work as long as the State of Emergency is still in effect.

Check out this genius in Peabody today. Apparently he went to the TJdaSportsguy school of driving:

My dad and I just spent about 3 hours in my grandparents basement in Stoneham...I heard Peabody and Melrose were two of the worst. I'm in North Reading and my house never floods, but my street is blocked off because the drain is backed up. I've lived here all my life and I've never seen this much rain so quickly.

Melrose is cancelled already. I imagine Malden, Medford, Everett won't be far behind.
