"The reason I ask is that I have these two pictures that I absolutely can't explain. That's not to say there's no explanation, I just don't know what it is. I would love to post them here but I guess I'm an idiot because I'm not really sure how. I had seen a lot of "ghost" pictures but I've always attributed them to an active imagination, photoshop, or some camera trick or anomoly. This one, however has some factors that actually have me stumped. It's a picture given to me by my assistant that I worked with up in NC. She's the last person I would think to try to pull one over on anybody, she's religious, and she (God bless her) is also quite a simple lady. I doubt she'd know what you meant if you said "photoshop." So, I've ruled out her messing with the film. And, by the way it was regular camera film and not digital until I scanned them. Basically, the picture was taken on the day of her daughter's graduation. Her daughter, also a former assistant of mine, was about to get in her car to go to graduation practice, BY HERSELF, when her mom snapped two shots of her from the porch of her bedroom. When she got the film back, there's somebody (it appears) sitting in the passenger's seat. Now, the only two explainations I can come up with is that there was some weird reflection that cause this individual/being (?) to appear in the seat, or somebody in a white shirt and shorts or tighty whities sitting in the car. If that were the case, her mom would have seen it and whoever that was would have been a ghost not long after her dad (an avid hunter) shot him."...they go on to say
" She, Shian, Cassey's mom, brought it to me wondering what I thought. She didn't mention her husband being there, and from what I can remember correctly, he had some job where he was out before the rest of the family. Then again, he might have been off that day or something, but since the tassle seems to be covering the figure I have had a hard time with the reflection explanation. I don't know the history of Cassey's car, but the poor girl was in 2 wrecks while I was there (nothing serious, just good ol' black ice). And regarding the person in the car, I would think her mom would have noticed and been slightly alarmed. I don't know, I never have given the idea of ghosts any real possibility, besides the fun of telling stories, but this one's been kinda fun to consider since I know these people. Lastly, I would have had to photoshop this one because it was on regular film, and trust me I couldn't even get the pictures on the board myself, much less do that good of a job. You gotta admit, if somebody PSed that one, they are pretty damn good."
Aiight...here's the pics
