the scariest moment of my life.
My mom leaves for work at like 4, is scheduled to work at 5, right?
Well her work calls at 645 and is like "Hi this is Sheila, is Cindy there?"
Me: "uhh...no?!"
Sheila: "Okay, have her call me" and she hangs up.
So I proceed to call my mom's cell phone and...low and behold, no answer. Go in and tell my sister that Mom never showed up for work, and then we both realize that she was supposed to be there at 5...so if she was in an accident where she could've called, or if she had just broken down on the side of the road, she would've called one of us and asked us to come.
So we quickly get in the car and start driving towards her work, just to see if there's any hint of an accident and stuff, all the while making the needed phone calls: Dad in Vermont who says he's coming home right then and there, My moms "bestfriend"/psuedo-boyfriend to see if he had heard from her, and he says he was going to drive and meet us at her work.
So then my sister calls the Framingham police station(non-emergency) to see if they had heard anything about and accident...and right when the guy picks up..hey, my mom calls and is like "Hi, everything alright?" all normal and ****. And I'm just like "...where are you?" She says she's at work...I tell her her boss called and asked where she was...and that me and Em were driving out there to see if we could find anything...she flips out, says she's going to have a "talk" with her boss, and then hangs up.
And now I'm back here and just needed to rant...thank you for listening
