I have to try to keep my mind occupied but its gonna be a long, lonley and probably crappy next few weeks unless she comes back around and wants to get back together, but she seemed pretty serious about how she loves me to death but our arguing and difference in opinions toward the future is driving us apart.
You aren't even 20 and you guys are arguing about the future. Good lord. Well, I don't know the whole story, so I shouldn't judge.Comment

Re: no more GF threads for now...
:y4: Not to hijack the thread... I was just letting him know that he isn't the only one out there... I know that it feels like you're the only one going through stuff like this... but there are plenty of us.
As for me... the first 2-3 weeks were pure hell. Her reason? She wanted independence, and wanted to "find herself". I was distraught big time... but still managed to push on and keep going, hoping that she would come back to me. However, she managed to ruin that, and said some REALLY devestating and hurtful things to me. But you know, after the initial pain that went through me, I'm better off now after she said those things. I was hanging on, to what seems like nothing.
Some of you around OS knew what was going on, which is why I haven't been around a whole lot... other's I haven't talked to much in a while (don't feel left out, lol). Just keep your head up. I've received some great advice from OS'ers, that at the time I thought was very cliche'... but has proved to be true.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: no more GF threads for now...
I second that! Don't ever let a girl come between you and your plans! But it still hurt, so I feel for you, but in the future you will be glad you guys made that decision!Originally posted by VinceYou're young, you'll get over it and find other women.
Sorry to hear though.Comment

Re: no more GF threads for now...
I know it is hard to hear this! But you are better off. Better now then later. I married at 25, and while that sounds old. I was so immature! Only by the grace of God lol and my wife putting up with my immaturity. We are going to celebrate our 10 years anniversary! Break ups are hard, but there is always something out there better and if you two are meant to be together. Then you will get back together!Originally posted by WTF:y4: Not to hijack the thread... There are definitely pros and cons to both but nothing is better than finding a friend with benefits if you ever feel "lonely". Maybe a few of them. If the right one comes along, thats cool but I'm now starting to believe that you gotta be picky when it comes to choosing a mate. Isnt this a gf thread?
I guess some us should be lucky, just think if your girl views this site and knows your screen name.
You never know, she might have surfed the site and that was the cause of the break-up.
Anybody's girl view the site and know your screenname?Comment
