Yeah, she wants you to go, it'll mean the world to her if you just show up.

How do yall know she wants me to go with her? If she wants me to go with her, shouldn't say something to me? I mean told her I'd go with her and offered several times.

You need to go. I know I would end up feeling pretty guilty if I didn't.

Whether your girlfriend wants you to go or not, you should go for your girlfriend's friend. You're really there to support her in the loss of her stepdad. If you will be seeing the friend a lot, you're going to need to deal with the topic of her stepdad's death at some point. It's better to face it head on at the funeral (not that you really have to say anything at the funeral, but it will be much less awkward to see her after the funeral). Plus, you'll probably score points with the girlfriend.

Good point. The more a woman tells you she doesn't want something, the more she wants it. She doesn't want to have to tell you to go; she just wants you to go (unless she doesn't like you that much - in which case she really doesn't want you to go). Women are lame.

well crap everyone else was telling me that its no longer on me anymore and that if she wants me there with her, she'll let me know. I think she wants me to, but there's not really a way that I could. She's spending the night in Birmingham(or Hoover for any of you that live in Jefferson Co area) tomorrow night and then she's waking up at 6AM(funeral is at 10 am) on Friday morning and coming back to Tuscaloosa(if she has time) to go to class after the funeral. Since I live a little over an hour away from Birmingham(the funeral is actually in Birmingham) and I have no clue where the church its being held at is(I know what church it is, but have no idea how to get there or where its at) the only way I could go is if I went with her and thats not possible. I think if the funeral were being held here in Tuscaloosa or in a place that I was the least bit familiar with, it'd be different.
