Seriously, there is no time table IMO. It's just a matter of finding the right one. We're all here on Earth for a limited time so might as well make sure you get the right one!
True, and while I knew about the male/female ratio ahead of time, I never expected the nice sweet girls of HS to turn into skanky superficial sluts overnight. It was quite surprising.

That being said, the engineering education there was top notch, so with respect to the education I received I wouldn't have wanted to go to another school. Meeting my wife was just a bonus

I'd say around 24/25. Quite possibly earlier.

17 right now, idealy it'd be 24-27 and no earlier since I should be out of college and into my chosen career. One of my friends stands by that too.

Alas, I feel for another of my friends who got engaged before we even graduated this year. I'll be damned if that relationship stays together happily.

I know a few kids that are married now because of getting their girlfriends pregnant.. very unfortunate situation.

Hmmm, well I've waited a while since I didn't want to stick to 1 girl in college and when I first got out (too much fun playing the field), but I've been with my current girlfriend for almost 4 years now. We'll get married sometime in the next 1.5 years.
Not here in California, it is hard to make it here on one salary! Sure it can be done, but it is hard! Especially when houses are selling for 700,000 for a track home lol!

They also pay much more in California than they do around here. It's all relative because cost of living is adjusted through pay in most instances. If it's not, then another job is in order! So yes the housing is more out there, but the pay is more as well. It should even out.

I believe it can be done, but living within one's means isn't always what people want to do.
