Anybody believe in Astrology/Zodiac Signs?

I know that this is usually a female thing. Cant even count the number of times a girl would flat out judge me based on my sign. In case you were wondering, I'm a cancer. Why they call it a deadly epidemic, I will never know.

Anyway, what I wanted to know is do you guys believe that you follow or fit the description for your sign? My weird theory is that ppl allow themselves to fit into their sign instead of being themselves. For example, a Taurus is often known to be bull headed and stubborn. Do you think ppl are actually born stubborn or do they just simply mold themselves into that trait because they believe they are.

What are your thoughts on this? I'm sure most will say that they do fit their traits or descriptions but were you always that way? Did enough astrological influence turn you that way? For me, I fit the sterotypical profile for a cancer but how? How did I get that way? Is this Astrology somewhat true?

I'm a Gemini.

Curiousity, cleverness, skill, communication; making connections with surroundings, trying to "figure things out"; the first display of intelligence by embodied spirit.

Talkative ("a Gemini is born with a telephone in each hand!"), communicative, sociable; loves to interact with others (at least on a superficial level); unemotional, impersonal, ruled by "rationality"; requires great mental stimulation, curious to a fault; playful, the Trickster, the Devil's Advocate; changable, inconstant, attention easily drifts to something new, seeks novelty.

I don't agree with the talkative and the impersonal part, however, the rest appears to be fair game with me.

I think its a bunch of B/S and I've never put any stock in it. I am a Cancer as well and my ex would read my horoscope every morning to me and not once did it ever make sense.

man, i used to think it was CRAZY... i didnt pay attention to it until i was about 18... never had i read anything to do with being a pisces... after reading it, u bet i believe in astrology...

my bro is a taurus and he fits the mold HUGELY

and my mom and my g/f are both the weights or w/e its called and both have similar qualities... i didnt know it either until we got an apartment together how closely they resemble eachother... but i didnt fall in love with 'my mom' as sum ppl say it, i went after looks..lol

I beleive in it. When reading your horoscope, take it all in stride and read more than one.

Remember what is says and re-read it again in a week. You'll see that some of the stuff actually comes true.

I usually go here every month, print out my forecast, read it and re-read at the end of the month.

Some of the stuff actually comes true just not the way you thought it would. And sometimes the horoscope is 1-3 days off, so just because it didnt happen today, doesnt mean it will not happen.

I guess Im weird and Im a sagittarius.

So to summarize: read more than one horoscope. Some of the stuff written in them might happen to you, but not the way they say it will. And if stuff does happen, it might not happen on the day they say it will, either.

I kind of believe the underlying points, but I don't buy into the daily stuff that's written. You can usually apply what's written into any facet of life in some form or another.

I'm a Capricorn and the underlying points are pretty close: Organized, hard working, efficient, detail-oriented, practical etc... Although they claim I'm patient and that isn't true at all.

I believe the signs are accurate in terms of generality (you know your personality type etc etc) I just don't buy into the daily horoscope but apparently a lot of powerful people do.

Maybe that's why the world is in such rough shape?

I've never understood horoscopes. Even the blatant ones dont make much sense.

Like hell it doesnt.

Old romance might not mean a woman, it may mean something like a old favorite shirt or movie.

Too many people are taking it literally. Horoscopes are vague but true in a sense.

Now that you put it like that, it makes more sense. I just dont believe ppl can predict anything. Preminition, thats believable but to sit here and tell me, one person can see our futures, even if they are vague, thats monkey crap.
